Unit Description
We are looking for night Registered Nurses to join our bustling med/surg unit at Porter Medical Center! Right now, we are mainly interested in candidates who have at least 1 year of hospital experience. Bonus points if you are interested in working as a charge shift RN, which comes with a $3/hour charge shift differential.

We also have per diem openings.

Porter Medical Center is a small but mighty hospital. Although we are located in the small, quintessential New England town of Middlebury, VT, we are a high critical and acute care hospital; our med/surg unit will certainly not keep you bored and will help you utilize and practice a myriad of your nursing skills. Our birthing center is top-notch, averaging about 400 births a year. We serve surgical patients, chronic patients, and have a progressive care unit. This position is fully benefit eligible, including medical, dental, vision, 403(b), short term/long term disability, CTO, and we invest in our employee's educational growth. Our RN positions are also unionized.

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing
• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont is required.
• BLS required, ACLS for specific departments
• At least 1 year of hospital nursing experience

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required.
• Appropriate experience in specific clinical area.  Varies by unit.

Incentives
$20,000 for night shift, $3/hour Charge shift differential, $5/hour night shift differential, $2/hour weekend shift differential, and $9,200 relocation bonus for relocating RNs.
