    The Addison Northwest School District is seeking a School Psychologist starting August 2026 school year. Under the direction of the Director of Student Support Services, the School Psychologist responsibilities include: provide cognitive and achievement testing, behavioral management, consultation services to a variety of staff and may be part of educational support teams, grade level teams and MTSS teams at the school and district level.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following, and other duties may be assigned.

    • Effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
    • Develop and maintain cooperative relationships with teachers, administrators, support staff, students and parents.
    • Develop, write and implement effective behavior plans including data collection, analysis and procedures.
    • Assess student skills, behavior challenges and social skills.
    • Prepare and maintain comprehensive reports, records and files
    • Work confidentially with discretion.
    • Drive a vehicle to conduct work.
    • Maintain current knowledge of technological advances in the field.
    • Meet schedules and timelines.
    • Provide work direction and guidance to assigned personnel.
    • Interpret and understand state and federal laws and regulations regarding special education.

    Job Requirements
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Degree Preferred: Masters degree in education with a certificate of advanced study in school psychology
    • License: Vermont Professional Educator’s License in the area of School Psychology
    • Experience: 1+ years
