    Job Requirements
    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    As a Paraeducator, you’ll work closely with teachers and specialists to support students academically, socially, behaviorally, and physically. You’ll:

    • Support students one-on-one or in small groups in academic and life skills
    • Adapt classroom materials and activities to meet individual learning needs
    • Encourage positive social interactions and inclusive experiences
    • Implement instructional and behavior support plans
    • Collect data and track student progress
    • Assist with daily needs such as self-care, mobility, and classroom transitions
    • Participate in field trips, community activities, and team meetings
    • Be a calm, steady presence—even on challenging days
    • You’ll be an essential part of a collaborative team focused on helping students grow, succeed, and feel supported.
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    We’re seeking someone who brings both skill and heart to the work:
    • High School diploma and two years of study (minimum of 48 credit hours) or Associate’s (or higher) degree or completion of Paraeducator Training
    • Experience working with children; school or special education experience preferred
    • Patience, empathy, and a genuine respect for students and families
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
    • Ability to stay calm, flexible, and positive in a fast-paced environment
    • At least 2 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
    • Associate degree preferred.
    • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
