Business Office Manager - Helen Porter Rehabilitation and Nursing
Overall responsibility for Business Office functions supporting Helen Porter Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility’s mission and financial objectives. Key collaborator with insurers, regulatory bodies, Porter Medical Center and UVM Health Network.
Experience Requirements- 3-5 years of experience in Nursing Home healthcare billing.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles.
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and direction.
- Ability to organize and perform very detailed work
- Strong computer skills including strengths with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint)
Familiarity with:- EPIC Software
- Medicaid, Hospice, Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and/or commercial insurance billing
- Associate or bachelor's Degree in related field
- Education/work experience combination of healthcare revenue cycle, finance, accounting, medical terminology, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
