Host

We’re looking for someone to join our team-oriented front of house at the Tillerman. Our hosts play a huge role in setting the tone for the evening and creating a welcoming, well-paced dining experience for our guests.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• greeting guests with a warm, friendly hello and giving them a fond farewell
• thoughtfully deciding where guests will sit to support smooth service throughout the night
• escorting guests to their tables with water and the appropriate menus and answering any basic questions regarding menu
• answering phone calls and assisting guests with questions about the tillerman
• keeping restrooms tidy, clean, and well stocked and helping out where needed throughout the evening

• strong work ethic and good time-management skills
• must be able to use tablets and computers quickly and efficiently
• multi tasking is a must so being able to work fast while smiling and being friendly and patient with guests
• positive attitude and ability to work well in a supportive, team-focused environment
• must be able to work friday and saturday
• must be able to lift 40lbs.
