• Garde Manger (seasonal)

    We are looking for someone to join our team-oriented kitchen at the Tillerman as a Garde Manger.

    Your tasks and responsibilities as a garde manger cook will include:

    • Prepping components for cold dishes such as salads, tartares, small snacks, fried appetizers and desserts
    • Keeping track of pars of ingredients that you are responsible for handling 
    • Setting up your work station with speed and efficiency in mind
    • Being set up for service at 4:30pm everyday
    • Execution of plating composed dishes in an efficient and intentional manner during dinner service 

    Requirements for this position are:
    • Must be able to arrive to work reliably and with enough time to begin work promptly at scheduled time
    • Must have the ability to stay calm and regulated during busy food services
    • A positive attitude and able to work well with others in a mutually supportive environment 
    • Must be able to lift 40lbs.
    • Must be able to work Sundays in the winter 
    Hours & Compensation:
    • Start date is mid April (thru November)
    • 2pm-close, Wednesday-Saturday
    • 35-40 hrs/wk
    • $22/hr + tips
