Garde Manger (seasonal)
Posted: 12/07/2025We are looking for someone to join our team-oriented kitchen at the Tillerman as a Garde Manger.
Your tasks and responsibilities as a garde manger cook will include:- Prepping components for cold dishes such as salads, tartares, small snacks, fried appetizers and desserts
- Keeping track of pars of ingredients that you are responsible for handling
- Setting up your work station with speed and efficiency in mind
- Being set up for service at 4:30pm everyday
- Execution of plating composed dishes in an efficient and intentional manner during dinner service
Requirements for this position are:- Must be able to arrive to work reliably and with enough time to begin work promptly at scheduled time
- Must have the ability to stay calm and regulated during busy food services
- A positive attitude and able to work well with others in a mutually supportive environment
- Must be able to lift 40lbs.
- Must be able to work Sundays in the winter
- Start date is mid April (thru November)
- 2pm-close, Wednesday-Saturday
- 35-40 hrs/wk
- $22/hr + tips
