• Warranty Administrator

    Champlain Valley Equipment is seeking a highly motivated and independent self-starter to work as a Warranty Administrator in a fast-paced corporate office.  Duties include managing and processing warranty claims, while ensuring timely and accurate resolution.  This position involves reviewing claims, maintaining records, communicating with relevant parties, and resolving issues related to warranty coverage.  Attention to detail and accuracy are necessary. 

    This position is full time, Monday through Friday, from 8AM to 5PM, with a lunch break.  Full benefits, including but not limited to health insurance, paid time off, and 401(k) are available after meeting length of service requirements.

    Tasks

    • Reviewing, validating, and approving warranty claims submitted by service departments or customers.
    • Maintaining detailed records of processed, filed, and completed/incomplete warranty claims.
    • Interacting with various parties including service managers, service writers, and manufacturers.
    • Addressing claim discrepancies, resolving chargebacks, and following up on unpaid claims.
    • Ensuring compliance with warranty policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
    • Maintaining accurate records or warranty work, parts, labor, and claim status.
    Must Haves
    • Fundamental computer skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Organizational skills needed to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and maintain detailed records.
    • Problem solving skills to identify and resolve issues related to warranty claims and coverage.
    • Attention to detail to ensure accurate claim processing.
