“All it takes is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie dust” as Rick Elice’s Tony Award-winning Peter and the Starcatcher takes flight at Town Hall Theatre as presented by the THT Young Company Classical. Adapted from Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson’s beloved novel, this imaginative Peter Pan prequel sails audiences on a thrilling, fast-paced voyage to discover the untold origins of the Neverland characters they’ve cherished for over a century. For older audiences, the tale stirs a tender nostalgia for the boy who refused to grow up, while younger audiences will be drawn to its darker theme on the bittersweet passage into adulthood. 

The production is co-directed by Associate Director of THT’s Center for Learning and Engagement, Keziah Wilde, and Nick Suchomel, who graduated this spring from Macalester College with a B.A. in Playwriting and Directing. Together, they bring a dynamic, ensemble-driven approach rooted in the physical theatre traditions of Jacques Lecoq and Anne Bogart, infusing the play with energy and inventive movement.
