The Vermont Community Foundation has a permanent home in the historic district of Middlebury village. We're located in the handsome 1823 Masonic Hall at 3 Court Street—next door to the old Addison County Courthouse and a few steps from the Middlebury Inn.

We are Vermont's largest and leading homegrown grantmaker. Together, our family of over 570 funds provides more than $10 million in grants per year. We help Vermont-focused philanthropists, organizations, and businesses cultivate their love of giving to the community by helping them learn, lead, and grow through their philanthropy.
