Driving Directions:
From Middlebury, take Route 125 west. Before the college, turn right on Route 23. After 1.5 miles, turn right on Pulp Mill Bridge Road, continue onto Morgan Horse Farm Road; the farm is 2 miles ahead.
About Us
The UVM Morgan Horse Farm is situated on 215 acres in the lush, agricultural area of Addison County. Colonel Joseph Battell built the main barn in 1878 to house his assembly of the era's finest Morgans.
The goals of the UVM Morgan Horse Farm are to perpetuate and improve the Morgan breed, to provide educational training and experience for students and the general public interested in equine science, to function as a public relations arm for the University, and to provide a resource for research in equine science.
Guided Tour Admission Rates:
- Adults $10, Youth 5-17 years $7, Kids 0-4 years Free
- UVM ID holders, Seniors, Military, and Addison County Residents: $8.50
- Admission fees to grounds are paid upon arrival in the gift shop, located in the lobby of the main barn.Video Media
