Driving Directions:
Follow Route 7 to 22A at Vergennes. Drive through town, over the bridge. Turn right on Panton Road for one mile, then right on Basin Harbor Road. You will find us 6 miles down the road on your right.
About Us
Discover shipwrecks, antique boats, and nautical archaeology for a new perspective on the lake's dramatic role in history and the shipwrecks still beneath its surface. Hazelett Watercraft Center celebrates the region's unique boats and honors their builders. Step aboard 1776 gunboat replica. Meet archaeologists in the Conservation Lab. Daily menu of demonstrations and on-water programs at family-friendly campus. Fourteen exhibit buildings, replica vessels, special events, teen adventure programs, Museum store, picnic area, playground, and discount at Red Mill Restaurant.
