    Job Requirements
    Looking for Seasonal work with a team that values great service and community connection? We are looking for a Seasonal Cashier to join our team!  In this role, you will help create a welcoming shopping experience by assisting customers, operating the register, maintaining organized front-of-store area, and supporting day-to-day store operations. If you enjoy helping people, staying active, and working as part of a team, we’d love to meet you.

    • Deliver friendly, knowledgeable customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
    • Greet customers when they enter the store and thank them for their visit as they leave.
    • Assist customers with questions, product locations, and purchase decisions.
    • Direct customers to the appropriate department or team member when needed.
    • Accurately process sales, returns, and exchanges using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
    • Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments responsibly.
    • Promote the store’s loyalty program, promotions, and in-store events.
    • Keep the front-end and cashier area clean, organized, and stocked.
    • Maintain product displays and ensure merchandise is properly labeled.
    • Monitor inventory levels in the front-of-store area and communicate restocking needs.
    • Assist with assembling merchandise or displays for customers and store presentations.
    • Support online and curbside pickup orders, ensuring they are accurate and completed in a timely manner.
    • Answer customer inquiries in-store, over the phone, or related to online orders.
    • Use Theatro communication technology to stay connected with store team members.
    • Escalate customer concerns to store leadership when needed.
    • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and Aubuchon Core Values.
    Work Experience
    • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
    • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
    • Weekend availability preferred.
    • Positive and professional attitude.
    • Strong customer service and organizational skills.
    • Ability to apply basic math concepts.
    • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
    • Ability to bend, climb, twist, and move merchandise as needed.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to process transactions efficiently using the register system.
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.; frequent lifting/carrying of up to 25 lbs.
    • Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout shifts.
    • Must be able to work in an animal-friendly environment (accommodations available upon request).
