Utility Operator 1 : 12hr Night Shift

Agri-Mark/Cabot Creamery has full-time (40 hours/week) openings as a third shift 4p-4a Utility Operator I. Schedule is 4-on-4-off. Position starts at $26.13, plus 7-10% night differential (based on actual hours worked) added to base pay. Eligible for increases every 6 months for the first two years of employment (based on performance).

This position works as part of a team, in an advance level capacity. This position will be required to help cover various positions. Position will require the selected employee to cover a mix of the following as determined by production needs:

• Cheese Line Operator 
• Packaging bulk cheddar cheese (ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs, repetitively). 
• Whey Packaging Operator
• Packaging bulk whey powders (ability to lift 50 lbs, repetitively). Forklift operation required.
• Milk Receiving 
• Unloading milk from tanker trucks. Working on top of trucks/OK with heights required.
• Forklift Operator
• Working with cheese line to put away all bulk cheddar into coolers. 
• Sanitation
• Cleaning cheese & whey equipment. Working with water & chemicals.

A key role within this position is to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members and provide guidance to trainees and co-workers. Ensuring accurate records are maintained is essential. Must have demonstrated mature judgment abilities. Work flexibility is a must.
