    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    • Design and deliver targeted, evidence-based literacy and math interventions (individual and small-group) aligned with student needs.
    • Use diagnostic and progress monitoring data to adjust instruction and support accelerated growth.
    • Provide scaffolds, accommodations, and enrichment strategies to ensure equitable access to learning opportunities.
    • Administer and interpret screeners, diagnostics, and progress monitoring assessments with fidelity.
    • Collaborate with teachers and teams to analyze student performance data and identify trends.
    • Support data-driven decision-making within the school’s MTSS framework, including the Education Support Team (EST) process.
    • Partner with classroom teachers, special educators, EL teachers, and administrators to plan instruction and interventions.
    • Contribute expertise to PLCs and EST/MTSS meetings by sharing student progress and recommending instructional adjustments.
    • Communicate effectively with families about student progress, intervention goals, and ways to support learning at home.
    • Engage in professional development to remain current with the Science of Reading, high-leverage math practices, and intervention research.
    • Apply new learning to classroom practice and share strategies with colleagues.
    • Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that fosters student engagement and confidence.
    • Support school-wide mission, goals, and policies, contributing to a culture of equity, belonging, and high expectations.
    Required Qualifications:
    • Holds or is eligible to hold a Vermont Teaching License with a K-6 elementary education endorsement
    • Experience as an interventionist or knowledge of effective intervention practices (preferred)
