    Join our team at Phoenix Feeds & Nutrition Inc., as a Diesel Mechanic and contribute to our commitment to quality.  We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel-powered vehicles and machinery. This role involves working on a variety of vehicles such as trucks, forklifts, and trailers. You will be running diagnostic tests, replacing vehicle components, and ensuring that maintenance issues are properly addressed.  

    What You'll Do
    As a Diesel Mechanic, you will:

    Consult with drivers and read work orders to evaluate tasks

    • Prepare work plans after understanding the issues
    • Run diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpret the results to provide solutions
    • Inspect vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering, and exhausts
    • Repair or replace vehicle transmissions, brakes, engines, and other parts
    • Conduct field visits for emergencies or sudden breakdowns
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, and brake checks
    • Maintain records of parts inventory and serviced vehicles
    What We're Looking For
    We’re seeking a motivated individual who:
    • Has advanced knowledge of vehicles, their electrical systems, and diesel engine mechanisms
    • Is proficient in using maintenance tools, repair equipment, and diesel engine diagnostic software
    • Is comfortable using mechanical and electrical power tools
    • Possesses excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
    • Has good interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
    • Demonstrates basic knowledge of computer systems and other relevant electronics
    • Holds a valid driver’s license
