Fireworks and ice skating in Middlebury. Wednesday, Dec. 31, 6:30-8:30 p.m., Middlebury Rec Park, Mary Hogan Dr. Fireworks begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by free ice skating at Memorial Sports Center. Thank you to the Middlebury Parks and Rec Dept for hosting fireworks in the rec park (near Mary Hogan) this year to celebrate the new year.
