Keys to Successful Recruitment & Retention
No matter what type of business you’re in, one of the greatest challenges here in Vermont is finding and keeping skilled employees. Companies tell us they can’t grow for lack of skilled workers, and HR personnel can’t interview and offer someone a job before they’ve moved on to pursue a more interesting position.
We will cover topics including:
- The Recruitment Process – job descriptions, advertising an opening, screening resumes, interviewing, and the decision to hire.
- Benefits as a Recruitment Tool – what are people looking for and how to select what benefits to offer.
- Onboarding and Retention – employee orientation, training, engagement and business culture
