Join us for a delightful week of free, family-friendly performances at the 46th Annual Middlebury Summer Festival on-the-Green, taking place from July 13–19, 2025. Set against the picturesque backdrop of the Village Green in Middlebury, Vermont, our beloved Festival offers a unique blend of music and community spirit under the big white tent in the heart of town.

Enjoy a variety of performances each weekday, with “Brown Bag” programs from 12:00–1:00 PM, perfect for families and lunch-break entertainment. In the evenings, live musical performances light up the night from 7:00–9:45 PM, Sunday through Saturday. Whether the weather is sunny or rainy, the Festival goes on! All events are free to attend, with generous support from our community of donors and volunteers. While admission is free, donations are gratefully accepted to help sustain the festival and ensure its continued success. The Middlebury Summer Festival on-the-Green thrives thanks to the generosity of individuals, local businesses, and organizations. The Festival's operating costs, which total approximately $65,000 annually, are covered through donations and in-kind contributions. These funds support artist fees, venue costs, and logistical needs, such as accommodations and meals for performers, as well as equipment and other services.

The Festival’s charm lies not only in its lively programming but also in the warm hospitality we extend to our performers. Thanks to this welcoming atmosphere and the stunning outdoor venue in a Vermont college town, Festival on-the-Green attracts talented artists who might otherwise be beyond our financial reach.
