Maintenance Specialist

Assists the Maintenance Department in keeping the buildings and grounds clean and healthy according to safety standards.

Salary Range:
$19.00 Hourly

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists in the interior and exterior janitorial needs, building maintenance, and ground keeping assignments.
• Assists with the planting, pruning, fertilizing, and transplanting of flowers, shrubs, trees, and bushes etc.

Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee may perform other related duties as needed to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.  This position is primarily custodial.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:​

• Ability to properly use of cleaning products and equipment
• Capable of following verbal and written instructions
• Ability to read and understand labels and directions
• Proficient in the use of computer software such as MSWord, Excel and Outlook, etc.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• High school graduate or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:

• One year of custodial experience
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
