Parade steps off from the high school at 11am, line up begins at 10am.
Vergennes, beginning at Vergennes Union High School, marching up Monkton Road to North Main Street. It continues all the way down Main Street, turning on to South Maple Street just before the Bixby Library. From South Maple the parade cuts across Victory Street to Green Street. Taking a sharp right turn for a brief march on New Haven Road, before ending at the Elementary School.

The American Legion Post 14 will proudly host the annual Memorial Day Parade at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 26, 2024, in Vergennes, Vermont, home to the largest Memorial Day Parade in the state.
This year’s theme: Honoring, Courage & Sacrifice
The parade honors all the men and women who have served our country during times of conflict and gave the ultimate sacrifice. It is designed to appeal to both Veterans and our community.
Parade participation is free along the 1.5-mile route through downtown Vergennes.
All participants are required to prominently display patriotic-style decorations in keeping with the purpose and theme of the parade: Honoring, Courage & Sacrifice.
Following the parade, there will be a solemn remembrance ceremony in the park, after which the American Legion Post 14 will host a Chicken BBQ at the Post, located at 100 Armory Lane.
