Plant Manager
Posted: 07/15/2026The Plant Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of manufacturing operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely production of high-quality aerospace products. This role has responsibility for a manufacturing team of approximately 375 employees, supported by 6 direct reports within a broader organization of approximately 700 employees.This senior-level position requires the ability to independently execute the responsibilities outlined below with minimal supervision, exercising sound judgment while effectively managing day-to-day operations and addressing complex business challenges. Success in this role requires strong leadership, sound business judgment, and a demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvements in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and financial performance.Key Responsibilities- Provide overall leadership for all manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with customer commitments and company objectives.

- Partner with Supply Chain to ensure material availability, optimize inventory, and proactively mitigate supply risks.
- Lead workforce planning, staffing, and organizational development initiatives to support operational excellence and business growth.
- Develop and execute annual operating plans, capital investment strategies, and continuous productivity improvement initiatives aligned with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with FAA, AS9100, customer, environmental, safety and all applicable regulatory requirements.
- Help build organizational capability by developing future leaders through coaching, mentoring, succession planning and performance management.
- Communicate operational performance, business risks, and recovery plans to executive leadership, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Maintain accountability for meeting customer commitments while balancing quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
Required Qualifications- 2+ years of proven experience in the following areas:
- Strong financial and business acumen with experience managing budgets, productivity, and operating performance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of U.S. import regulations and experience operating in ITAR/EAR controlled environments
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards and VOSHA/OSHA regulations with a demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment
Preferred Qualifications- Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience.
- Experience with FAA Part 145 and/or AS9100 environments.
- Experience in leading within manufacturing organizations.
