We're looking for dedicated and compassionate Shelter Operations Staff members to join our team and support our mission of providing a safe, regulated, and temporary residential option with access to essential resources for individuals experiencing homelessness.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist with the day-to-day operations of the shelter, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests.
    • Provide direct support and maintain accurate records.
    • Offer guidance, routine and resources to guests, helping them access essential services.
    • Foster a positive and respectful atmosphere, ensuring guests feel valued and heard.
    • Work collaboratively with staff and volunteers to create an effective, compassionate shelter environment.
    Qualifications:
    • Experience of minimum 5 years in a Social Services setting preferred
    • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
    • Experience in social services, shelter work, or corrections is a plus.
    • Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
    • Flexible, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
    • Must be able to demonstrate effective boundaries with colleagues, guests, volunteers
