    Last September Weekend A Busy One in Bristol
    Better L8 Than Never Car Show & Bristol Harvest Festival Scheduled for September 24-25

    Bristol, Vermont – September 13, 2016 – The last weekend of September will be a busy one in Bristol—both events will bring visitors and area residents to downtown Bristol. The Bristol Harvest Festival will be held on Saturday, September 24th on the green and the Better L8 Than Never Car Show will be held the next day, Sunday, September 25th, at the Bristol Recreation Field. 

    Saturday, September 24th will be the 18th annual Bristol Harvest Festival, co-hosted by the Addison County Chamber and the Bristol Recreation Department. Activities are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. when the town green will come alive with 65+ crafters and vendors, demonstrations and live musical entertainment on the bandstand throughout the day. There will be an open house at Bristol’s new fire station with horse and wagon rides shuttling passengers between downtown and the new facility. There will also be a road race, the Harvest Hustle 5K, starting from Mt. Abe High School at 9 a.m. 

    The Snake Mountain Cruisers and Addison County Chamber will be co-hosting the 12th annual Better L8 Than Never Car Show on Sunday, September 25th at the Bristol Recreation Field. The car show runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. More than 200 vehicles are expected, live DJ, vendors, kids’ activities, raffles, bake sale, piston toss and more. Fun for the whole family! Trophies awarded to the Top 30. Admission for spectators is free (donations are accepted for Camp Ta-Kum-Ta) and vehicle registration is only $20 per vehicle.
