Chipman Inn Wins Chamber's Pot of Gold
Innkeeper Donates Winnings to Moosalamoo Association
Middlebury, Vermont – May 23, 2017 – Chipman Inn won the Pot of Gold at the Addison County Chamber of Commerce’s recent business networking event. The Pot of Gold is a promotion the Chamber offers at its monthly mixers that creates a fun atmosphere and helps drive attendance. If a Chamber member’s name is drawn from the pot and they’re in attendance, the member can win up to $500.
Chipman Inn’s name was drawn from the pot and its owner, Chris Bullock, was present and won several hundred dollars. Mr. Bullock donated his winnings to the Moosalamoo Association, on whose board he serves.
Chipman Inn, located in Ripton, is an historic 1828 nine-room country inn in the Green Mountain National Forest. The Moosalamoo Association provides stewardship for Vermont’s Moosalamoo National Recreation Area which comprises 16,000 acres in the heart of the Green Mountain National Forest. Moosalamoo NRA has more than 70 miles of well-maintained trails providing opportunities for hiking, biking, cross/back-country skiing, snowshoeing, wildlife and bird watching, and more.
