Bristol Offers Family Events in September
Bristol, Vermont – The last week of September will be a busy one in Bristol—both events will bring visitors and area residents to downtown Bristol. The Better L8 Than Never Car Show will be held Sunday, September 22nd at the Bristol Recreation Field, and The Bristol Harvest Festival will be held on Saturday, September 28th on the town green.
The Snake Mountain Cruisers and the Addison County Chamber will be co-hosting the 15th annual Better L8 Than Never Car Show on Sunday, September 22nd at the Bristol Recreation Field, 110 Airport Drive The car show runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. More than 300 vehicles are expected, vendors, food trucks, kids’ activities, raffles, bake sale, piston toss and more. Fun for the whole family! Trophies awarded for the Top 30, Best of Show, Modern Muscle, Tuner and Club Participation. Admission for spectators is free (donations are accepted for Camp Ta-Kum-Ta) and vehicle registration is only $20 per vehicle.
Saturday, September 28th will be the 21st annual Bristol Harvest Festival, co-hosted by the Addison County Chamber and the Bristol Recreation Department. Activities are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. when the town green will come alive with 75+ crafters and vendors, a pie eating contest, kids entertainment and live musical entertainment on the bandstand throughout the day. Musicians will include Ramble Tree, Mark LaVoie, Rick Ceballos & Lausanne Allen, The Harvest Festival Band, Keith Williams and Patrick Fitzsimmons.
