    CSAC’s Community Associates program is seeking compassionate and skilled RNs to support adults with developmental disabilities in living healthy, meaningful lives. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who values teamwork and advocacy in a person-centered environment. 

    WHAT YOU’LL DO

    As a per diem RN, you’ll provide nursing support to either our residential or community-based residential program. You’ll utilize the Vermont Health & Wellness Standards, TCR regulations and Medicaid requirements to ensure care practices.

    Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Monitor and support clients’ medical needs in collaboration with service coordinators and interdisciplinary teams across residential and community-based settings.
    • Train and delegate to certified staff, following compliance standards and TCR standards.
    • Provide medication administration training and delegation to certified staff in compliance with state and agency policy
    • Write special care procedures and train staff as needed.
    • Audit health records and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and support continuous improvement.
    • Work closely with internal teams, healthcare providers, and families to promote continuity of care
    • Provide direct and emergent nursing support and consultation to ensure safe, person-centered care.
    • Administer emergency medication as needed during scheduled hours.
    • Provide after hour paid, on-call support for residential program, rotated among RN program staff.
    WHAT YOU BRING
    • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Vermont
    • Knowledge of Vermont DDSD Health & Wellness Standards, TCR rules, and HCBS requirements. Support and resources will be provided if the candidate does not have the DDSD nursing knowledge/experience.
    • Strong skills in training, delegations and quality assurance.
    • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities.
    COMPENSATION
    • The pay rate is from $31 to $38/hour commensurate with experience
