As a Service Manager at our Middlebury, VT location, you will oversee all aspects of the Service Department, ensuring efficient operations, high-quality service, and customer satisfaction.     Responsibilities

    • Oversee daily operations of the Service Department, ensuring smooth and profitable performance
    • Coordinate customer, warranty, and internal service work assignments
    • Manage and support a team of Service Technicians, Service Writer, and Driver
    • Develop and implement operating plans for the department
    • Schedule and assign service jobs based on team members’ skills and priorities
    • Ensure timely and professional handling of sales and service pickups and deliveries
    • Foster a culture of personal development, career growth, and continued education within the department
    • Conduct annual performance evaluations for departmental employees
    • Maintain consistent workflow to drive department sales and meet customer expectations
    • Communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction and build strong relationships
    • Resolve service-related conflicts and facilitate payment collection
    • Submit service warranty claims accurately and in compliance with vendor requirements
    • Maintain department equipment and schedule fleet vehicle maintenance and repairs
    • Collaborate with parts and sales teams, including other CVE locations, to enhance sales performance and customer satisfaction
