This webinar is for small business and organization leaders who want to improve an existing employer sponsored retirement plan or establish a new one. The presentation will provide an overview of various employer sponsored retirement plans, including SIMPLE IRAs, SEP IRAs, solo 401Ks and traditional 401Ks, and will explore the characteristics of each type. In addition, participants will learn effective investment strategies that can help you optimize returns, including diversification, keeping fees low and reducing tax liability. Whether you have a sole proprietorship, or work for a business or a non-profit, this presentation will provide vital information for investing for retirement.

Carrie McDonnell is a financial advisor located in Middlebury. She works for One Day In July, a Vermont-based firm offering fiduciary advice. A former school administrator, Carrie has a background in education and enjoys opportunities to teach individuals, organizations and businesses how to be knowledgeable investors. She believes informed investing can have substantial and long term impacts on the success and sustainability of businesses and organizations. Outside of the office, she enjoys coaching and spectating her children’s many sports teams.
