DESCRIPTION:Please consider joining us next Tuesday\, 10/14\, at 5:30 at the New Haven Town Hall.\n\n\n\nJoin the Secretary of State\, Sarah Copeland Hanzas\, and your neighbors\, to learn about what Civic Health looks like across Vermont and in your community. Please come ready to participate! We will be asking for your feedback. We encourage participation from throughout Addison County\, as this is the only one of these discussions currently scheduled in the area.\n\n\n\nVermont recently conducted its first-ever civic health index\, a report which looked at areas of civic health\, including social connections\, political engagement\, trust in government\, media access\, volunteering and access to arts and culture. This event will include information and discussion about the report's process and findings\, as well as small group discussions.\n\n\n\n"We want to hear what you think about the civic health and civic engagement within your community\," Copeland Hanzas said. "We want you to give us ideas and\, indeed\, direction for what you think our office should do in the future."\n\n\n\nPrevious discussions in this series have inspired new initiatives\, such as Vermont's Kid Governor (https://vt.kidgovernor.org/) and perhaps this discussion could even motivate some local action.
