DESCRIPTION:Experience nature like you never have before! Immerse yourself in the lives of birds of prey through this hands-on learning experience. Live falcons\, hawks and owls provide the lens through which we examine food webs\, predator-prey relationships\, and the interdependence of the systems that support life. This first-hand encounter enables participants to understand the defining characteristics that make a bird a raptor and their adaptations for life as a predator on the wing. Touchable artifacts and hands-on materials round out this special experience.\n\n\n\nEvent Highlights:  \n\n	Family friendly-This event is appropriate for families and people of all ages who would like to accompany our MALT campers in celebrating the end of their camp week with a live raptor show from VINS. Limited space available\, sign-up ASAP!\n	This event is part of the closing ceremony for our Wildlife Summer Camp. Celebrate with us and our campers!\n	SPACE IS LIMITED. Please see the link above for registration. \n	Please do NOT park on Morgan Horse Farm Road. You may park in the grassy lot at the Otter Creek Gorge Northern Trailhead.\n\n\n\nCANCELLATION POLICY: MALT operates programs outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. If weather conditions are hazardous (lightning\, sustained winds  30m.p.h.)\, MALT may cancel the program. If that is the case\, you will receive notification via email.
