DESCRIPTION:Artist Mira Cabrera creates abstract landscape paintings using a combination of natural foraged pigments and traditional mediums. Join Middlebury Studio and MALT during Vermont Craft Council's Open Studio Weekend for a unique event designed to bring art to the outdoors!\n\n\n\nParticipants are invited to hike a short self-guided gallery walk along a TAM trail\, with Mira's original paintings displayed along the way. After viewing the artworks\, Mira will be available to demonstrate the process she uses to forage and incorporate natural pigments from the trails into her work. \n\n\n\nWatercolor supplies and natural earth pigments and guidance from instructors from Middlebury Studio School will be provided for those who wish to create their own masterpiece to take home. No prior experience is necessary\, and artists of all ages are encouraged to enjoy this event.\n\n\n\nFollow along with @growing_in_process\, @middleburystudioschool\, & @middleburyarealandtrust on social media for more of the journey!  \n\n\n\n Event Highlights:  \n\n	The walk will be around 1 mile on uneven and sloping terrain\n	Must be able to walk at least a mile on easy trails\n	This event will continue snow or shine!\n	Park at Wright Park parking lot off of Seymour St Ext\n	Please CARPOOL if possible! Parking is limited\n\n\n\nCANCELLATION POLICY: MALT operates programs outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. If weather conditions are hazardous (lightning\, sustained winds  30m.p.h.)\, MALT may cancel the program. If that is the case\, you will receive notification via email.
