Bristol Harvest Festival & Better L8 Than Never Car ShowBy Sue Hoxie
Bristol, Vermont – September 15, 2008 – The Five Town Business Council, a division of the Addison County Chamber of Commerce, and the Bristol Rec Department are pleased to present the Bristol Harvest Festival, Saturday, September 27, 10 am to 4 pm and the Better L8 than Never Car Show, Sunday, September 28 from 10 am to 4 pm.
On the Bristol Town Green, more than 90 crafters and vendors will showcase their products and provide craft demonstrations throughout the day. There will be a children’s area with pony rides and games, bandstand entertainment by local musicians, a farmer’s market, an apple pie contest and the Bristol police Department will hold a “Stolen Goods Yard Sale.” The Taste of Bristol tent will again showcase food from several area restaurants.
Sunday’s Better L8 Than Never Car Show will feature more than 200 cars registered in 27 classes. There will also be some Vermont crafters and vendors. Free admission.
