New Lodging Property, Bordering Green Mountain National Forest, Opens in RiptonBy Sue Hoxie
Robert Frost Mountain Cabins Are Convenient to Middlebury but Offer Secluded Setting
Middlebury, Vermont – September 4, 2012 – The Addison County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the opening of Robert Frost Mountain Cabins—also its newest member. Located on 112 acres in Ripton, the property currently features two timber frame cabins in addition to a meeting room designed for larger gatherings. Eventually the owners, Marty and Carol Kulczyk, plan to build eight more cabins for a total of ten. An open house and ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Saturday, August 25th to celebrate and allow friends and neighbors to tour the new cabins.
Located approximately 20 minutes from downtown Middlebury, the cabins are also convenient to Middlebury College’s Bread Loaf Campus, the Snow Bowl Ski Area, and Rikert Nordic Center. Positioned on the Eastern slopes of Robert Frost Mountain and bordering the Green Mountain National Forest, the cabins offer a unique secluded setting and panoramic mountain views. Each cabin sleeps up to six and features a full bath, screened porch, WiFi and fully equipped kitchen. Rates begin at $139/night.
“The open house was a great opportunity to share our project with friends, neighbors and local residents,” said Marty Kulczyk. “We look forward to sharing the beauty of central Vermont and Ripton with folks from both near and far.”
