Bristol Harvest Festival & Better L8 Than Never Car Show

Annual Events Draw Crowds to Downtown Bristol

Bristol, Vermont – September 14, 2010 –The Addison County Chamber of Commerce and the Bristol Recreation Department are hosting the Bristol Harvest Festival and the Better L8 Than Never Car Show on Saturday, September 25th. The Harvest Festival is held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the car show runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free to both events, although donations for Camp Ta-Kum-Ta will be accepted at the car show.

On the Bristol Town Green, more than 75 crafters and vendors will showcase their products and provide craft demonstrations throughout the day. There will be a children’s area with pony rides and games plus the Vermont Army Guard will offer a baseball pitch, bandstand entertainment by local musicians, a farmers’ market, and an apple pie contest.  The Taste of Bristol tent will again showcase food from several area restaurants.

Businesses on Main Street, a short walk from the Town Green, will feature food and beverage tastings, and many retailers will be offering sidewalk sales.

The Better L8 Than Never Car Show, hosted by the Green Mountain Cruisers, will be held at the Bristol Recreation field. The event will feature more than 200 cars registered in 27 classes. There will also be a live DJ, raffles, food vendors and a flea market. Please note if you would like to pre-register your vehicle to participate in the car show, you must return your form before September 23rd.
