New Chiropractic Practice Opens in MiddleburyBy Sue Hoxie
Middlebury, Vermont – July 19, 2010 – The Addison County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome Clear Connection Chiropractic to Middlebury. Elizabeth Davidson, DC, hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony on July 15th at her business located at 91 Court Street, Middlebury.
Dr. Davidson is a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic and the owner of Clear Connection Chiropractic. She received Bachelors’ degrees in liberal arts and elementary education from Johnson State College in 2001 and graduated summa cum laude with her Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from Sherman College of Chiropractic in 2006. She is certified in Network Spinal Analysis and has studied Bio-Geometric Integration and Torque Release Technique, all of which are gentle enough for newborns and involve no twisting or cracking.
Dr. Davidson lives with her daughter, Elena, in Middlebury, where they are thrilled to be a part of such a vibrant community. Dr. Davidson grew up in Montgomery, Vermont where she had a family practice for the past three years. A desire to live in a place with a great food co-op and diverse educational opportunities for her daughter brought Dr. Davidson to Middlebury. Dr. Davidson is also an educator—she presents public talks and freelance articles on health and wellness.
“Keeping children healthy starting at birth is my passion and I continuously update my skills in this area. A healthy body begins with a healthy brain and nerve system. Keeping it healthy from the start is integral to an optimal life,” said Dr. Davidson. “I also work closely with families to promote whole body wellness and prevent all the common illnesses our society sees as normal such as ADHD, ear infections, asthma, sleep problems, immune disorders, etc.”
Dr. Davidson is also involved with a program called Love Has No Color. She and a group of other chiropractors are committed to bringing health, education, and opportunities to the impoverished native peoples of our country. Dr. Davidson will be spending a few days this month donating her time and energy to improving conditions on the Fort Peck Reservation in Montana. A portion of proceeds from her practice go to benefit the people of the reservation and she periodically has events to specifically benefit them. Dr. Davidson is also a proud member and supporter of Rural Vermont and Vermont Public Radio.
Currently, the practice is open to see patients on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., by appointment.
