Bristol Harvest Festival & Better L8 Than Never Car ShowBy Sue Hoxie
Bristol, Vermont – September 14, 2009 – The Five Town Business Council, a division of the Addison County Chamber of Commerce, and the Bristol Recreation Department are hosting the Bristol Harvest Festival, Saturday, September 26 from 10 am to 4 pm, and the Better L8 than Never Car Show, Sunday, September 27 from 9 am to 4 pm. Admission is free to both events.
On the Bristol Town Green, more than 75 crafters and vendors will showcase their products and provide craft demonstrations throughout the day. There will be a children’s area with pony rides and games, bandstand entertainment by local musicians, a farmer’s market, and an apple pie contest. The Taste of Bristol tent will again showcase food from several area restaurants.
Businesses on Main Street, a short walk from the Town Green, will feature food and beverage tastings, and many retailers will be offering sidewalk sales.
Sunday’s Better L8 Than Never Car Show hosted by the Green Mountain Cruisers and held at the Bristol Recreation field, will feature more than 200 cars registered in 27 classes. There will also be a live DJ, raffles, food vendors and a flea market.
