Middlebury, Vermont – May 19, 2009 – The Addison County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Tom Funk, vice president of marketing at Timberline Interactive, will speak at its Middlebury Area meeting on June 9th. Mr. Funk’s talk, titled “Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Why & How”, will focus on how to get your business to rank higher on Google, why every website should be optimized for search, the differences between organic and paid search, how pay per click (PPC) ads work, and how to get started.
Mr. Funk has been a speaker at numerous industry events including the Internet Retailer and DMA (Direct Marketing Association) annual conferences. He has extensive experience in search engine optimization, paid search advertising, Google Analytics and other web stats platforms, user experience, and online merchandising.
