Event scheduled for Monday, February 23rd at Middlebury Inn
Middlebury, Vermont – February 13, 2009 – The Addison County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a “Forum on Healthcare” on Monday, February 23rd from 7:15 to 9 am at the Middlebury Inn. The discussion will focus on the current state and future of healthcare in Vermont and Addison County in particular. Among topics addressed will be the role of businesses and their costs, proposed changes in how healthcare is delivered and potential impact to the quality and availability of service.
The panel of presenters will include Rep. Steve Maier, Chair, Vermont House Health Care Committee; James Daily, President, Porter Medical Center; Jeanne Keller, Keller & Fuller, Inc. and Ken Perine, President, National Bank of Middlebury. The event will be moderated by Steve Terry, Addison Consulting.
This event is open to the public. The cost to attend is $10 for members of the Addison County Chamber of Commerce and $20 for non-members. A continental breakfast is included.
