In addition to the Addison County Chamber of Commerce‚ here are a few of the organizations that can help you with your relocation:

The Addison County Economic Development Corporation (ACEDC) is a non-profit organization that provides a link to business consulting services through the Vermont Small Business Development Center (SBDC) USDA Rural Development Vermont Manufacturing Extension Center (VMEC) and the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE). Help is available in the preparation of funding requests as well as strategic planning for your business. ACEDC can also assist with plant siting, permitting, worker training, and special loan programs.

The Addison County Regional Planning Commission serves as the primary land use planning organization for the region. It maintains a regional land use plan and provides technical assistance and GIS services to towns regarding land use planning‚ transportation planning‚ emergency planning and watershed planning. It also offers a forum for towns to discuss and resolve mutual concerns and serves as a clearinghouse for data and planning resources.
