Town Hall Theater is thrilled to present Tina Friml’s Big Apple Comedy on Saturday, January 10 at 8 p.m. on the Rothrock Mainstage. A festive cocktail hour from 7–8 p.m. will open the evening, before emcee Keziah Wilde takes the stage.

World-famous comedian Tina Friml will return to her hometown for this special performance after earning national acclaim and international visibility in the comedy world. Friml has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and The Drew Barrymore Show’s “Bananamores,” in addition to performing at top comedy clubs and major festivals across the globe. In 2025, she won the Seven Daysie for Best Standup Comic, and in 2019 she was named a Just for Laughs New Face, marking her as a rising star in the national comedy scene.

Friml's additional credits include features at the NBC Comedy Spotlight Series, and HBO’s Women in Comedy Festival. Friml has toured internationally and opened for well-known comedians including Bobcat Goldthwait, Hari Kondabolu, Kurt Braunohler, Sean Patton, and Michele Buteau.

Known for her animated optimism, offbeat perspective, and fearless honesty, Friml draws on her own physical disability—and the assumptions surrounding it. Her work attracts audiences of all backgrounds, who find her original perspective and stage presence irresistibly funny.
