Addison Housing Works will host a Community Food Drive on Friday, December 5 from 2–4 p.m. to stock the resident food pantries at three properties: Vergennes Community Apartments (45 Armory Lane, Vergennes), Stone Hill (428 Court Street, Middlebury), and Firehouse Apartments (Firehouse Drive, Bristol). Community members are invited to stop by one or all three locations to donate non-perishable food and household items supporting Addison County residents facing food insecurity. Enjoy cocoa, cookies, and community while you drop off items. We are collecting canned vegetables and fruits, pasta, rice, grains, peanut butter, canned proteins, household essentials (soap, laundry detergent, paper products, etc.), and personal hygiene products. Donation drop boxes will be located in the community spaces at each building. Our goal is to support AHW residents who may need additional assistance. We hope to see you there!
